China deepens international cooperation amid global economic uncertainty

China and the UK have agreed to build a long-term & consistent comprehensive strategic partnership. China also strengthened ties with Finland during Prime Minister Petteri Orpo's official visit from January 25 to 28, with both sides emphasizing cooperation in innovation and green development. Meanwhile, China underscored its role as a "world market," not only a "world factory," backed by strong economic indicators in 2025. The government also outlined plans to further open up key sectors such as services and technology. Globally, economic uncertainty drove gold demand to a record high. Meanwhile, the US Federal Reserve kept interest rates unchanged, striking a cautiously optimistic tone as financial markets responded to mixed economic signals.
