A storybook from ‘the last hunting tribe in China’

Long, long ago, there was a clan of people who excelled at hunting, and lived in untraversed grasslands and forests rarely exposed to the world. As time passed, these people became known as the Ewenki, an ethnic group living in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in north China. Their stories are typically related to animals, including reindeer and horses, as they are now friends of nature rather than hunters.
