Beijing to launch world's first embodied AI robot '4S store'

Beijing is set to launch the world's first "4S store" dedicated to embodied artificial intelligence (AI) robots, marking the latest push to commercialize advanced robotics in the country. The facility is scheduled to open in a robotics industrial park in Yizhuang, southern Beijing, during the 2025 World Robot Conference, which will be held from August 8 to 12. The third United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC), co-hosted by France and Costa Rica, wrapped up Friday in Nice with the unveiling of a new action plan, reaffirming the global political commitment to ocean protection.
