Chinese boxers shine at Women's Boxing Worlds, Qin Haiyang sets breaststroke Asian mark

Chinese boxers Wu Yu and Yang Chengyu bagged world titles in the 50-52kg flyweight and elite 60-63kg light welterweight events, respectively, at the Women's Boxing World Championships 2023 in New Delhi, India. Chinese swimmer Qin Haiyang bettered the men's 50m breaststroke Asian record by clocking 26.63 seconds in the preliminaries. He later went on to win the final on the last day of the Chinese national spring swimming championships in Qingdao, east China's Shandong Province, on Friday.
