LeBron James breaks NBA all-time scoring record;China's Zhu claims maiden WTA title

Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James has now scored more points than any NBA player in history. The 38-year-old passed fellow Lakers Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's career 38,387 points during their game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. China's high-flying tennis sensation Zhu Lin clinched her first Women's Tennis Association (WTA) tour singles title after edging out Ukrainian veteran Lesia Tsurenko 6-4, 6-4 at the Thailand Open.
